Who is Pride In Business (PIB)?
Pride In Business was established in 2011 to support, encourage, and promote small to medium-sized LGBTQ+ owned and operated businesses, professionals, and those that support the LGBTQ+ community in the Calgary area.

Our goal is to promote and encourage networking between LGBTQ+ businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs, and/or trailblazers (whether as a self-identifying member, ally and/or supporter). The intent is to help provide more visibility within our community, allowing community members to better support our local LGBTQ+ professionals and businesses.

We strive to be a positive example and influence on LGBTQ+ youth and younger professionals. Pride in Business aims to provide a space and platform for which LGBTQ+ businesses and individuals can thrive and achieve success.

What are the PIB Community Spotlights?

Pride in Business Community Spotlights are geared towards providing businesses, professionals, and trailblazers a platform to showcase what they do best. This can include physical events hosted at your facilities and/or media features on our digital platforms. We want to put a spotlight on professionals and businesses that are part of or support the LGBTQ+ community.

What is the PIB Community Spotlight For Artists?

The PIB Artists Program (in partnership with TD) focuses on supporting established and emerging artists across all art disciplines.

This unique Community Spotlight is an incredible opportunity for the LGBTQ+ artists in Calgary, Alberta, to showcase their work to the community by exhibiting their work through an energetic event that celebrates our individuality in our province.
